The solutions manual is not included, so I would just rent it. You know how a lot of textbooks have sort of absurd graphic clutter on every page? Not so here. Also, for some strange reason, chapter 25 is at the end of the book, after all the appendices, indexes, etc. I would recommend buying the previous version if you could get it cheaper, unless you absolutely need a kindle version for whatever reason.
So, I caved and got the loose leaf, it was a great decision! I took out the chapters I needed and took them to class with me, and I could highlight and make notes near the text the professor emphasized on. If you are taking organic chemistry and are using this book, buy the loose leaf. Very convenient having textbooks on here.
